WHO CRUCIFIED THE MESSIAH?

WHO KILLED JESUS? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS SUFFERING AND MURDER?

LISTEN TO JESUS’ OWN WORDS:

Mat 16:21 From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
Mat 17:12 But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him, but have done to him whatever they desired. Likewise also the Son of Man shall suffer from them.
Mat 17:22 And while they stayed in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man shall be betrayed into the hands of men. Mat 17:23 And they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised again. And they grieved exceedingly.
Mat 20:18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man shall be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes, and they shall condemn Him to death. Mat 20:19 And they shall deliver Him to the nations / Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He shall rise again.
Mat 21:37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. Mat 21:38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. Mat 21:39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
Mat 23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, Mat 23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, Mat 23:30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Mat 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Mat 23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed because of / through many for the remission of sins.
Mat 26:45 Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Mar 8:31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
Mar 9:12 And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought. Mar 9:13 But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.
Mar 9:31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.
Mar 10:33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles: Mar 10:34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
Mar 12:6 Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son. Mar 12:7 But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours. Mar 12:8 And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
Mar 14:24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed because of / through many.
Mar 14:41 And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Luk 9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
Luk 9:44 Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men. Luk 9:45 But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying. Luk 11:46 And He said, Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens grievous to be carried, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers. Luk 11:47 Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. Luk 11:48 Truly you bear witness that you consent to the deeds of your fathers. For they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs. Luk 11:49 Therefore the wisdom of God also said, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute, Luk 11:50 so that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; Luk 11:51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the temple. Truly I say to you, It shall be required of this generation. Luk 11:52 Woe to you, lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and you have hindered those who were entering in. Luk 11:53 And as He said these things to them, the scribes and Pharisees began to be terribly angry, and to draw Him out concerning many things, Luk 11:54 lying in ambush for Him, and seeking to catch something out of His mouth, so that they might accuse Him.
Luk 13:34 Jerusalem! Jerusalem! the one killing the prophets, and stoning those having been sent to her; how often I desired to gather your children in the way a hen gathers her brood under the wings, and you did not desire it.
Luk 17:25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected of this generation.
Luk 18:31 And He took the Twelve and said to them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished. Luk 18:32 For He will be delivered to the nations and will be mocked and insulted and spat on. Luk 18:33 And they will scourge Him and put Him to death, and the third day He will rise again. Luk 18:34 And they did not understand any of these things. And this saying was hidden from them, nor did they know the things which were spoken.
Luk 19:14 But his citizens hated him. And they sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this one to reign over us.
Luk 20:13 And the lord of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. It may be that they will respect him when they see him. Luk 20:14 But when the vinedressers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir! Come, let us kill him so that the inheritance may be ours. Luk 20:15 So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then shall the lord of the vineyard do to them? Luk 20:16 He shall come and destroy these vinedressers and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard this, they said, Let it not be! Luk 20:17 And He looked at them and said, What then is this which is written, "The Stone which the builders rejected, the same has become the Head of the corner?
Luk 22:20 In the same way He took the cup, after having dined, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is being poured out beause of / through you.
Luk 24:6 He is not here, but has risen. Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, Luk 24:7 saying, The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again? Luk 24:8 And they remembered His words Luk 24:25 And He said to them, O fools and slow of heart to believe all things that the prophets spoke! Luk 24:26 Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?
Joh 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
Joh 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which bears / taketh away the sin of the world.
Joh 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Joh 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Joh 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
Joh 7:19 Did not Moses give you the Law? And yet not one of you keeps the Law! Why do you seek to kill Me?
Joh 8:37 I know that you are Abraham's seed, but you seek to kill Me because My Word has no place in you.
Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world. Now shall the prince of this world be cast out. Joh 12:32 And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to Myself. Joh 12:33 But He said this, signifying what kind of death He was about to die.
Joh 13:18 I do not speak of you all; I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me."
Act 9:4-5 And he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me? And he said, Who are you, lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom you persecute. It is hard for you to kick against the goads. (Jesus charged Saul for His suffering and His death because of his sins against the believers).
Psa 69:9 For the zeal of Your house has eaten Me up; and the reproaches of those who reproached You have fallen on Me. Rom 15:3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me."(Our sins against God fell on Jesus and wounded Him)
Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as it were a hiding of faces from Him, He being despised, and we esteemed Him not. Isa 53:4 Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. (Mankind despised, rejected and caused Him sorrow, grief, and wounds but by mistake said it was God.)
Isa 53:5 But He was wounded because of (not for) our transgressions; He was bruised because of our iniquities; the correction / instruction for our peace was because of Him; and with His stripes we ourselves are healed. (See Gesenius’s Hebrew Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament, Strong’s no. 4480 (e)) and it is in harmony with all the former.

JESUS NEVER SAID HIS FATHER WILL PUNISH OR KILL OR DESERT HIM AS PUNISHMENT FOR OUR SINS OR IN ANGER.
Isa 53:10 The correct translation according to Gesenius’s Hebrew Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament, Strong’s no. 2470 & 1792.
Yet it pleased Jehovah to be crushed; to be made weak / grieved; (God did not crush Jesus, we did but He allowed us and was willing to be crushed by us. It is in perfect harmony with all the above scriptures.)
Psa 22:1 My God, my God, why have You forsaken me, (It’s not a song about being abandoned. It’s a song about vindication, domination and glory. http://skipmoen.com/2007/07/29/times-two/

According to Lamsa’s translation from the Aramaic of the Peshitta, the Peshitta text reads: “Eli, Eli, lemana shabakthani! My God, my God, for this I was spared.” That is shown in Mark 15 and Matt. 27.
Psa 22:24 For He has not despised nor hated the affliction of the afflicted; and He has not hidden His face from him, but when he cried to Him, He heard.
Psa 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Psa 27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then Jehovah will take me up.
Psa 31:22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before Your eyes; surely You heard the voice of my cries, when I cried to You.
Joh 8:16 And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I and the Father who sent Me.
Joh 8:29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things which please Him.
Joh 14:10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in Me? The Words that I speak to you I do not speak of Myself, but the Father who dwells in Me, He does the works. Act 9:4 And he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?
Joh 16:32 Behold, the hour comes, yea, has now come, that you will be scattered, each man to his own things, and you will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
Heb 5:7 For Jesus, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong cryings and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared,

JESUS SAID OVER AND OVER, WE (MEN, GENTILES, NATIONS, THE SINNERS, WORLD, ELDERS, PRIESTS, AND SCRIBES) KILLED HIM – BECAUSE OF AND THROUGH OUR SINS. He NEVER said it was God who did it. He was and is God and He did not do it to Himself. We killed Jesus (and all the prophets) through every sin.
Jesus said those who deny they killed the prophets (and Jesus) prove thereby against themselves that they are same as the ones who did it and never realized or confessed it. All the righteous blood ever shed on earth will be required from them!!
The ones who see the truth admit that they are the same as the ones who killed the prophets and Jesus. They confess it with sorrow and repent deeply – and they are forgiven.
Those who get angry because of these words thereby prove that they are indeed the same as the murderers of all the prophets and of Jesus because they got angry at Jesus and Peter and Stephen in Acts 2-4 when they told them the same things.

SELA.
