KAPHAR =
PURGE, CLEANSE ATONEMENT
Hebr. KAPHAR
H3722 is correctly translated in the KJV in some scriptures as purge and
cleanse e.g. in these quoted below but in most instances, it is wrongly translated as
atonement.
In the context of
many scriptures e.g. Dan 9:24 kaphar should have been translated as purging. Dan
9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city,
to finish the transgression, and
to make an end of sins, and to make purging / cleansing (kaphar reconciliation
/ atonement) for
iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision
and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
The clearest
definition of kaphar is in Lev 16:30 For on that day shall the priest make a purging (kaphar atonement)
for you, to cleanse you,
that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
The blood of
animals and of Jesus were not meant to cover, expiate, condone or appease or
pacify or pardon our sins again and again, but to CLEANSE AND PURGE us from all
sin that sins may stop.
1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he
is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth
us from all sin.
1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1Jn 2:2 And he is the purging
propitiation for
our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Hebrews
9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience
from dead works to serve the living God?
Rev 1:5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of
the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in
his own blood,
Revelation 7:14
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which
came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of
the Lamb.
ATONEMENT IS
THE WRONG TRANSLATION. Translators were deceived by Satan to use atonement that
people may think they will surely not die if they sin, because there is
atonement for their sins through the blood of the lambs and of Jesus.
The truth is,
as God said, we shall surely die if we sin and if we keep on sinning, but Jesus
was promised to crush the head of Satan, and DELIVER, CLEANSE, WASH and FREE us
from all our sins through His blood, so that sins may stop, that we may live
holy lives and may not die.
Jesus does it
as written in Zech 12:10-13:9 and 1Pet 2:24-24. Jesus bore our sins in His body
on the cross. Our sins pained, grieved, pierced, spilled His blood, crushed and
murdered Him. If we admit and confess this with true remorse with every sin,
and repent and make restitution, He is
willing to forgive, cleanse and deliver us from all those sins, fill us with
His Holy Spirit, make us holy and righteous - so that sins may stop and we may
not die. SELA and AMEN. This was the message in Acts 2-4 and to Paul.
